A downloadable puzzle book

The Lok creatures return!

After mastering space travel, they venture across the sprawling galaxy… only to find that they are not alone!

Help the Lok creatures guide the Ika creatures in the development of their civilisation, learning about themselves in the process!

IKA (aka LOK: Extra-terrestrial extension) is a puzzle book inspired by the game LOK by Blaž Urban Gracar. It expands upon the arrow mechanic from the digital adaptation, taking it to mind-boggling extremes.

In its first Arc, IKA introduces 8 new mechanics (+ 1 reprise of an old mechanic), 9 chapters -- each with hand-drawn hub art  -- and over 80 puzzles!

In the second Arc (added 13.03.25), IKA introduces an additional 8 mechanics for 8 new chapters -- also with hand-drawn hub art -- and over 85 new puzzles!

IKA expects you to understand all of the mechanics in LOK: Digital (including the Digital-exclusive worlds).

IKA is not affiliated with LOK (by Blaž Urban Gracar) or LOK: Digital (designed by Letibus Design, developed by Icedrop Games and published by Draknek and Friends); IKA is merely a passion project.

All puzzles in the book were created using the Level Editor featured in LOK: Digital (designed by Letibus Design, developed by Icedrop Games and published by Draknek and Friends).

IKA is in the form of a .pdf file, which can be drawn on directly using a .pdf editor like Microsoft Edge, Acrobat, or another editor such as a digital notebook.

Alternatively, you can print the .pdf out. If you choose to do so, you should print the .pdf labeled as "print-friendly" (so you don't waste as much ink).

I personally recommend having a spare piece of paper to hand to draw out the puzzles as they change.
